please type in "mushrooms, cancer" into the little search window here on CZ. I just did and there were loads of links to posts re. healthy benefits of mushrooms.

One thing to keep in mind .... When the nuclear man-made disaster in Tschernobyl "happened", people in Europa were warned not to eat mushrooms because they tend to absorb more of the radiation, like some other plants. So was wondering if mushrooms originating from Japan and China should be avoided.
