As with any newbie to water-only-fasting I hope you have done some research on the subject as forewarned is forearmed: the more knowledgeable you are about the process, then the more successful the outcome will be.
The BO factor is usually absent while fasting unless you do not water-bathe/shower on a daily basis, and where as an organ of detox the skin takes a back seat by the body in favor of the Liver, kidneys and lungs. Much of the toxemia is also burnt as fuel by the body as well, rather than being eliminated.
Further, the greater the symptoms of detox then the greater the need for the fast, and where any bad breath should be greater within the first few days to a week; as toxemia is lowered it becomes far less of an annoyance personally, as well as to others. You could mask any bad breath with mouthwashes if you are going to socialize, but I would grin and bear it while at home.
Detox is accelerated by resting: the more you rest, the more the body will devote its available energies to elimination, but if you are expending energy in other ways such as exercise, then that energy is taken away from the detox process. The body has a limited capacity to detox as with other processes and takes its own time in cleansing, all we can do is nurture and encourage it the best way we can by (as Shelton referred to it) absolute rest, physically, mentally and emotionally. Fasting is a period of physiological rest, so if we rest our body/mind as well, this greatly assists the fasting process and detox/healing in particular.
Colonics and other methods of drainage while fasting were proven to be enervating to the faster and therefore counterproductive to the detox process, so if you decide to go ahead with it I would do so before the fast gets underway.
This may be of help....................
