The vast majority of Gallstones are crystalline in composition, I’ve examined many of them and seen this when they are cut in half. Crystals are formed by a crystallization process from a liquid or a gas, the bile is the liquid in the case if human biochemical physiology. I am not aware of any soft transitional or intermediary stages in crystal formation, do you know of some examples?
