I have been getting interested in herbs and remedies lately and want to harvest the dandelions that have taken over my back yard. Question...I use to spray my lawn with weed killer to get rid of them..( please be kind I didn't know better). It has been about 3 years or more since I have used any chemicals in my yard. Can I harvest these dandelions or will there be poisons still in the ground?

and if I can harvest, should I harvest when they are blooming or not. My husband mows on saturdays. Thank you!!!
