I have a thought... Oil Pulling. Several years ago I had a plague building up on an area and used coconut oil and a couple drops of oregano essential oil 3 times/day to oil pull. The plague just fell off within a couple of days. I have used oil pulling using coconut or sesame oil a couple of days a week ever since and have not had any sign of plague. Pulling the oil through the gum line and around the teeth seems to keep the area clean and free of food particles and bacteria build up.
