It certainly might not hurt to try but it will depend on the composition of the stones. My experience is after 9 years trying almost everything mentioned on CZ my stone never changed on the ultrasound.
There was 1 poster who tried the coin grass for a year and did check with US and the stone never changed. A few years later when I saw his name again I e-mailed him and he said he had finally done the surgery and he was happy he did it.
I have not gotten to surgery so far and I am not planning to.
Last year I did a whole year of chanca piedra, but I don't know if it helped I gave up on US 2-3 years ago. Now I keep things under control with bitters and Epsom Salts .
It took me several years to realize when people said they got their "gallstones" out they never had an US and just assumed they had gallstones.
