As if there weren't enough sources of heavy metals. Why would anyone think that making a food/drink ingredient in a mercury vat would be a good idea? Amazing.

I was also reading that Beluga whales are so full of mercury now that beached whales are considered a toxic health hazard. Caviar, anyone?
