Yes, you are right, grassman.......the sins/criminal actions of a person are not caused by "christianity", Catholicism, or any religion, IN FACT, they are not even CAUSED by satan. Each person is SOVEREIGN (accountable to self INITIALLY, of course ULTIMATELY accountable to the creator).

Romans 2:14
"a law to themselves".

Each person is responsible for their own actions and SHOULD hold themselves accountable to their own conscience.

The whole problem with "christianity" is that it takes away 'accountability to conscience' and replaces it with accountability to a BOOK, accountability to a MINISTER/PRIEST/SCHOLAR, etc......(partisanship/protocol/procedures, "following" the leader)....."SOVEREIGNS" do not "FOLLOW". Be a MEMBER OF Jesus, John 14:6.

According to natural law (the creator's law), you are SOVEREIGN. NO ONE is allowed to proselytize you without you freely and expressly asking them for assistance, nor is anyone allowed to convince you that they should take command of your soul and "TEACH" you spiritually,......YOU are your own master (you are "SOVEREIGN"). As a human being, the only people on earth who should have any say in your life are your parents (and the police if you are unruly,...that's life).

Satan can only TEMPT, he can't actually CAUSE any harm.

The "sin/criminal action" of the individual is CAUSED by that person themselves (satan has always been used conveniently as a 'scapegoat'/excuse,.....and so is every thing imaginable also used as a scapegoat.

Many people SAY/claim they trust God completely, but they really don't trust that this all-powerful loving God has ensured that we are protected from the god of destruction.

The "WHAT" is OUR peaceful and Godly spirit in communion with God's powerful spirit. The devil has no hold on a righteous person.

Without a peaceful Godly spirit of our own, we will be "lawless", a result/"son" of perditious beliefs (evil distortions of truth)....yet the MYSTERY of who 666 is continues for all the book scholars.

You used a very special word in your post("dichotomy").

God wants us to think in terms of "PRINCIPLES" (Hebrews 5:12) because we should be able to see everything as either RIGHT or WRONG (good/evil). It's not just that He wants us to be able to properly use the knowledge gained in the Garden of Eden, He wants us to be able to know what is the right choice in each situation. The dichotomy (either/or, two sided coin, definite "yes" or definite "no", truth or untruth, etc.) is that God wants us to "DISTINGUISH" between the two qualities/standards of what we will do, think, and believe.

When "good" changes to "bad", the change is clear and abrupt (no middle ground, no "variation or shadow").

James 1:17 "no variation or shadow".

So, with that word in your vocabulary (and that CONCEPT in your mind), The Lord has prepared you to move on to solid food and have the discerning "sword" that a Godly person should have by HEARING His "VOICE".

John 10:27 "MY sheep HEAR my VOICE".
Ephesians 6:17 "sword of the spirit".

....The Lord's purpose in coming to earthwas not to bring the Jews "peace" by establishing the kingdom, it was to bring that "sword".

Let GOD be your only spiritual teacher and you will learn how to "rightly handle the WORD OF TRUTH" (scripture)......God's word is what you HEAR when HE teaches you.

It is only as a sovereign who can HEAR His voice that anyone can truly relate to and identify with "I am who I am" (Exodus 3:14), then God's spirit can bear witness to yours.....

Romans 8:16
"it is the Spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God".

How can a "follower" of anything be a "sovereign?....impossible!.

The "sins/criminal actions of man" are caused by all who use "scapegoats", "excuses" (they choose all the 'variations and shadows').
