"Passover" is a sacred Jewish tradition/celebration because of the "paschal lamb" and the blood put on the doorposts in Egypt. The Jews would NEVER, NEVER have let that sacred tradition become corrupted by accepting it as "Easter".
"Easter" was an ancient pagan celebration that Nimrod and the stoneMASONS celebrated at the Tower of Babel (yes, Nimrod is reportedly the first Grand Master of the masons, they used to all be slaves, but are now free...FREEmasons).
The time of their "EGG" celebration does coincide with Passover, but the easter "EGG" is pagan, and the paschal "LAMB" has direct meaning for "SIN SACRIFICE" (and what possible logic is there that an EGG comes from a bunny anyway?)....as a rule, anything evil/wrong is IRRATIONAL (does not make sense)......to a Godly person, only peace and harmony are logical/rational (makes sense), anything that disrupts peace and harmony (evil/bad) does not make sense and is ILLOGICAL.
The first way you can tell that easter is pagan is that it simply does not make sense that an EGG can come from a rabbit. So, no matter how anybody in history ever played with words, "EASTER" is clearly and exclusively a pagan ritual....
....(for those with families, you don't want your kid going to school and get beat up or expelled for something their conscience doesn't understand anyway,....the celebration doesn't matter unless done with full understanding and conscience, DELIBERATE,....mistakes can be forgiven).
All humanity, but especially "christianity" is very illogical. The commmon belief is that if you want to understand something properly, put it in Olde English (King James English, I never understood the logic of doing that, at least they don't put it in the ORIGINAL 1611 language).
