For any who suffers from this HORRIBLE condition they need to know something very important that people have completely failed to mention and that is the cure for this condition. For one, you need to stop consuming bread (yeast) or this will never go away no matter what you put on the infection. Sugar feeds the yeast so try to avoid this as well. Also avoid alcohol even vodka and gin as it feeds the yeast (alcohol converts into sugar) even though the mental anguish will probably lead you to want to self-medicate. Take a pill or smoke some pot instead if you feel down in the gutter. Although the soap is useful it did not cure the infection and it is very harsh on the skin. Wash the infection with dial or regular dish soap (not ultra concentrated L-lactid acid formula) and/or hydrogen peroxide. You don't need to leave the soap on just cleanse as you would your face. After (this part is most crucial) apply a liberal amount of Lotrimin AF (anti-fungal) to the affected area. The cream absorbs incredibly well and you can feel it work instantly. The AF stands for anti-fungal, not athletes foot. Just get the original cream not any other fancy pants type. It contains clotrimazole which is the key ingredient. After application you should apply some clean vaseline or anything with petroleum jelly but NOT AN ANTI-BIOTIC OINTMENT. This will seal in the medicine but more importantly it will allow you to talk and eat normally without discomfort. In a few days or more the infection should be cleared. If this doesn't work then try the dish soap method again then apply the clotrimazole when the skin is dried out as this prevents the growth of candida or just do the original dish soap method again and it may work this time around. A & D ointment may be something to look into. Also avoid high contents of vinegar such as ketchup and distilled salad dressing but if this is difficult then try not to get it on the infection as it will feed the yeast.
