I think all grains are poison. They are unnatural to our diet and have only existed in the human diet for about 10,000 years (since agriculture started). Notice you can't eat them raw at all.

Not enough time for the human species to adapt to the drastic change in diet.

I would stick to vegetables, meats and fats.
