My understanding is that you're supposed to take the chlorella about 30 mins before the cilantro so it's in the intestines by then. The idea is that the cilantro will mobilize the metals and you don't want them getting reabsorbed, so having chlorella already at work will absorb whatever the cilantro mobilizes....haven't tried it myself, but I believe Klingheardt recommends using them this way.
