yah so obv as the name implies its- di-methyl-sulfoxide so you get a dose of a few methyl groups (reason ppl take sam-e and stuff like that) and the element/mineral sulfur (reason people take msm and stuff like that) yah and obv acts like a transporter of sorts getting things across membranes (skin) but knowledgable guy who started dmso group on yahoo said they have to be under (thing you want transported across) 1000 Da to be transported across (molecular weight of stuff can be googled) , i used it to apply zinc transdermally and i suspect it worked really well (could taste both the zinc and dmso in my mouth if took too much)
