Kanchi, I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles with blasto. Your blasto symptoms you described sound 'exactly' how I felt. I too had this strange ear pain but didn't connect it to blasto. Once I took the treatment it completely went away along with all other symptoms. It's still hard for me to believe that this protozoa can cause this many side effects, but it can. I also had problems losing my balance and bumping into walls.

I took the 2nd line treatment of the Triple Therapy recommended by Jackie. She said the 2nd line would be easier to get in my country (USA). She said some people had difficulty obtaining one the drugs in the 1st line.
I also felt more comfortable with the 2nd line since it had nitaz and I had previous experience with it.

I think you mentioned your doctor said that if people take the therapy within a few years blasto will become resistant to it too....I have thought of this. It's a scary thought. What I'm trying to say is - maybe in a few years or so - the triple therapy will no longer work against blasto because they have evolved and become resistant to this treatment. I don't really know how that works but I don't like the sound of it.

I remember reading somewhere that the Australian Treatment has been proven over 85% effective in treating blasto through 'clinical trials' over several years. They seemed to put a lot of research and studying into this. This was my first attempt at treating blasto. I tried no other drugs. I'm now over 1 month post treatment and fairly sure they are gone. (I will be having the stool test done soon).

Put alot of thought and research into this before you take any drugs, you don't want to hurt your chances of beating this.
