Hey Shrimpy,

Thanks a lot for the information. My diet from now is: no grains, carbs, red meat... Only water, green tea, fish, chicken, lots of vegetables and some nuts. The rumble and tumble in my bowels is much better but this is not the case for my other symptoms. I’m sure the diet won’t control the BH but just want to try to maximise my chances for treatment success.
I feel sorry to say that since June last year I’m not able to function on a daily base anymore. I work as a psychologist but had to go on disability as my body just didn’t want to move anymore. I not only have to miss my work but also my social life and so on. Really don’t want to discourage you but please take the signals of your body seriously. I know that’s a very difficult thing to do in our society but I think it might be the only way to completely recover. I also did avoid drinking alcohol. I once drank a glass of wine a couple of months ago and had to lay in bed for one week after. I think my energy levels are just too low to be able to cope with the energy alcohol takes away from our system. But of course when you have loads of energy, you don’t notice what (physically and mentally) is taking away your energy. Maybe that’s one positive thing I learned during my time sick .

Jackie told me that I could try to obtain the meds from a centre in the UK (through a certain Dr Apelles Econs) but I’m not sure if she meant that I can do this without the help of my doctor or not.
