Oh, boy. I hate having my ear stopped up. Surely with all that stuff in there, your ear wax is soft. Maybe it needs syringing out? I've had best success using a Murine ear bulb, suck warm water up into it, lean my head over the sink, bad ear down, and gently syringe the water into the ear canal, allowing it to drain at the same time into the sink. The ear wax coming out is visible. What I don't know is, if you are starting an ear infection, is this a bad idea. Good luck!
