"i believe it's an ulcer," alarms me. That means you are self-diagnosed.
Many symptoms in the stomach are similar like H-Pylori, leaky gut syndrome, ulcers, so self-diagnosis does you a diservice. go to a real doctor to see if you really have an ulcer and or H-pylori, it's worth it, better than self-diagnose and treat yourself for ailments you don't have or not treat yourself for ailments that you do have.
