uses special rolled beeswax candles that are mounted in an L-shape tube that enters your ear. The candle is lit which creates a mild attraction of your ear wax and other waste products into the core of the hollow candle. It helps to clear your ears of waste, much like the swf clears your bowels.

Over 200 years ago it was practised by the Egyptians, Chinese, Tibetan and American Indian cultures. Today, it is practiced by many cultures and is taught in German medical schools.

For me, one of my ears feels a little stuffy today (have to keep yawning to pop it), so the ear candling will help to clear that.
