I had Mirena place about a month and a half ago, since then I started having problems sleeping. Right before id fall asleep it felt like I was not breathing and my body would wake itself up gasping for breath. it happened randomly until a few days ago I couldn't fall asleep because every time it felt like i couldn't breath and wake myself. I went to the doctors 3 different times, they ran ekgs, xrays and blood work. All came back normal and my oxygen was at 100%. Even during the day I felt like i was having trouble breathing from light to feeling like i was going to black out. it was almost if at night especially that I had to consciously take every breath.

I got it taken out yesterday, and while it helped with the cramping and bloating, but i still am having trouble breathing. I also lost a great deal of hair, hand fulls a day, thankfully i have a lot so its not so noticeable. Also i had a great deal of chest pain, it felt tight and heavy like someone was stepping on my chest.

After i got it taken out and went to a doctor, (who said it was anxiety) i started taking adaban, which helped me sleep, but im still having chest pain and trouble breathing when i dont take it, during the day.

I was wondering if anyone had similar problem, and if so did it go away and if so how long did it take

I m hoping since it was only in me for a month the damage is minimal
