2 PPM is for INHALED industrial exposure in a 15 minute period. The bio-physiological dynamics of inhaled absorption is very much different from that encountered with an injected solution. The slower absorption and metabolism of formaldehyde from any injection produces a dilution factor in the entire human body so that the ppm exposure has a very much smaller effect, if any at all.
