And now we have gone full circle...

When the "other" chemicals and natural medicines don't work, you either let the person suffer hoping that they will eventually recover, or you look at other things that have a possibility to work.

Look at John. He has infection in his jaw bone. He has tried a variety of alternative things, and his doctor has thrown the gamut of drugs at it. The infection remains.

What if a dentist was instructed on the "off label" use of an "industrial bleaching agent" and was able to eliminate the infection?

That may not be important to you, but John would find it very helpful.

Or, what about the single mom who finds that her family keeps getting MRSA and passing it to each other. After trying everything that medicine had to offer, she then tried all the various alternatives. No success. What if some testing was done and it revealed that at concentrations less than that for bleaching, sodium chlorite could not only eliminate the MRSA from the house to prevent re-infection, but was also helpful in eliminating it from the body.

The difficulty in all of this is that just because the situation is desperate, you shouldn't throw caution to the wind and grab the latest "cure all," but if some testing was done a medical professional may be able to look at the risk versus reward.

Oxidizers work by having a concentration of them in contact with the pathogen for a period of time long enough to kill the pathogen. Sodium chlorite is an excellent oxidizer. Chlorine dioxide is impressive outside the body, I think it is worth looking at further especially in the areas where other things don't work.
