The ND who did the majority of the testing used bloodwork, urine and saliva. I don't recall the names of the labs though.
I was tested for H-Pylori last year and it was negative.
I have had CMV in the past, but my last test showed it to be normal. HHV-6 in the past as well, but now supposedly normal. I still plan on having the AP test for them though.
I asked my acupuncturist about the DB lyme kit she is putting me, in regards to co-infections and she said the one she is using handles multiple strains of lyme and infections, so hopefully that would be ok.
I just had an aha moment last night when I realize that I am sure I have a fatty liver and that it is causing my digestion problems and a host of other issues I have been having as well. I was healthy before I had it out in 96. About a year later was when all my health problems started. I had to have my GB out because it was in pieces (in our family on my mom's side, it's a hereditary thing, all three generations have had GB problems), but to anyone else who has problems, I cannot urge you enough to not have it removed if possible. At the time I thought it was the answer to my prayers, and for a short time it was, but now, 15 years later, here I am, an unfortunate long-time poster here on CZ. I have way more answers now and a more focused direction to go in, but of course it's still a hard thing to treat. Ironically, I do not drink so my fatty liver has nothing to do with alcohol. I have had constant liver problems since I had it out.
With regards to thing like EBV that are supposedly non-curable and just lay dormant in your body, does your ND feel that things like DB will actually remove the virus from the body? That is what I am confused about.
