I'm looking for any and all tips with dealing with this problem in the summer months. It's sweltering hot in D.C. so people are hot and cranky - and hence more vocal with their ignorant comments.
I'm using baby wipes and natural, aluminium-free deodorant like they are going out of style. I was doing well with my diet but slipped up not terribly but a bit. Yesterday I had several slices of gluten-free bread (it has eggs and yeast in the ingredients though), an avocado, and a handful of almonds. And today the reactions were very much there. I think they were pronounced because of all the sweating. You can see folks sweating like crazy here, except mine is actually getting to people!
I've started using chlorophy tabs again (but in higher concentration) and notice BM odors aren't as strong and where my apartment always use to smelly stuffy (and sometimes even like something died), it stopped smelling that way since I started using the chlorophyll - interesting, right? But I don't think it has eliminated the Body Odor though, obviously.
I'd greatly appreciate any tips you can share. For example, there was someone (or this forum or another BO/Bad Breath forum) who mentioned that they use Borax 20 Mule Team as their laundry detergent versus the traditional stuff out there. I tried it today and for the first time in YEARS my clothes actually smell clean. Like really clean. With the other stuff I felt I was just going through the motions! I got it at Target for $2.99 for a box. I'm offering a heartfelt thanks to whomever made that suggestion!
Anyway, I mentioned that as an example of tips you use to deal, particularly in the hot summer months. It was 102 degrees today and we're just in the beginning of summer. Thanks so much!!
