how do digestive enzymes help with inflammation? do they help with inflammation in certain conditions only?
The concept behind proteolytic enzyme therapy for inflammation is that the enzymes digest proteins in the blood that can cause inflammation, including fibrin fragments that are primarily pro-inflammatory by increasing inflammatory cytokines.
