Wise advice, although being a much smaller population, there is less separation between those that we elect to govern us, and the general public, so things tend to be more transparent.

England does not control our country, as I have explained to the person on this forum, that is obsessed with the royal family. The Queen of England is our titular head of state, nothing more.

However, that being said, there is a growing trend of multinational companies, such as BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, etc, gaining far too much power and influence in Australia, as well as globally. This influenced and power is increased under a conservative government, (in my country), but people are aware of this trend, and many want this stopped.

I'm not a believer in the NWO Conspiracy theories, or in blaming some group of families for all the woes of world. We as individuals are just as responsible for the mess we are in, as much as the greedy and selfish at the top of the pile.

If we reward greed and selfishness, and a lack of social conscience, by voting for those that espouse these traits, either in the political or economic world, then we get what we voted for.

If we vote for policies that benefit our people and our world, we can turn around this trend.

As my Mother said, "change your thinking, and your world will change". I strongly believe that the consciousness of the world is changing, and what we are seeing today is the last gasp of the greedy and selfish.
