I have read of someone who lost a very bad tooth during fasting. I am sorry that I can not remember the source. It was presented as a good thing, however, since it was the body's way of getting rid of it and it was beyond help. This is good as animals can not go to dentists when they need to have a tooth pulled. They just fast and the tooth comes out naturally. Fasting heals teeth when they have not gone beyond a certain point of damage. This is what I remember from what I read. Again, I am sorry I do not have the source.
