Spud, can you show me in your country's founding documents where it says your government can engage in business activities? If you can't, then you have an illegal government.

And can you show me in those same founding documents where it says your legal system can engage in business activities? If you can't, your legal system is ILL-egal.

You might as well have [insert your least favorite business, corporation or non-profit organization here] running your country.

Is it right for a non-profit organization to take donations from people and spend most of it as business expenses and operate at a loss while their employees receive big fat wages? That's what you have as a government, unless those founding documents say your government can do that.

Is it right for banks to threaten, intimidate and make up the rules as they so they trip up people and make them go into foreclosure? That's what you have as a legal system unless those founding documents say they can do that.

And I agree your legal system works "extremely well" and is probably extremely profitable. I could make it work really "well" too if I made up the "laws". Especially if people were too busy to pay attention, don't care, don't understand or put their full trust in the system.

I bet I could do the same with your government too. Do I get your vote? ;-)
