However, I still don't think it is worth it trying to convince a doctor that doesn't already know about it.    Even the Mayo Clinic has an article saying it doesn't exist. 

Better off to stick with the doctors that already know how to treat it.  

Hopefully.....eventually, the word will get out.  But until it starts being taught in medical school, your average doctor will never hear of it.
