I have exactly the same experience and entirely agree with the explanation. I wonder if anyone has any ideas for treating this sort of insomnia in addition to decreasing the dose of the product or substance that is causing the reaction. In addition, I get this sort of insomnia at the beginning of starting an anti-Candida diet without the use of any product whatsoever. It is simply a die off reaction due to the change in diet that elevates cortisol as a stress response.
