I'm getting my health under control. I've gone off gluten (as of July 2009), casein (as of January 2010), and I went on the anti-candida diet (November 2010) and had my mercury fillings removed (March 2011).

I'm feeling much better, though not completely, as I still have candida flare-ups if I eat so much as a banana (though I realize once the mercury is gone, the candida should be real easy to permanently kill).

So my question is regarding gluten/casein intolerance. I've heard of people who have food allergies (not necessarily intolerance) that have gone away when they removed their mercury or their Amalgams at least. Should this be the same with non-celiac gluten/casein intolerance? Has anyone had experience with having their gluten or casein sensitivity get significantly reduced at least, if not go away outright when they managed to remove the mercury from their body?

I'm only 2 months in removing the mercury, and it's a slow process. I feel like I'm not seeing progress, other than a mild decrease in hunger (I have abnormally high hunger, though at least it's lower now than it has been) and an increase in energy (on some days, I feel great).

I want to see my gluten/casein intolerance go away or be reduced by a lot so I don't have to totally avoid them 100%. It's doable, but frustrating at times. Plus I'd like my health back. I'm only 30.

So anyone have experience with food intolerances and mercury that might be able to add their input?
