I guess unless you shower/bath in distilled water then your body will absorb some of the minerals, or maybe not as the skin is waterproof.

I'm careful about how hot I have the water when bathing when fasting as the body can't regulate its temp as well.

hope your dry fast is going well, I'm starting one tonight at midnight and I don't have to go back to work until Wednesday so I'll see how I get on :)
