Stanley Burroughs originator of the Master Cleanse  was also dead set against enemas when fasting. Personally for me enemas are not something I resonate with  but I have been regular my whole life. I do think they have their place for folks on a healing path using fasting as a healing modality where they are not eliminating during a fast. Over the years in the MC forum we've had folks report instant relief doing a plain water enema during a healing crisis when fasting.
