Hi Maggie,

I haven't got any personal experience using salt therapy, but I've read a bit about it -

From what I understand, it seems helpful in drying out the congested passages (as are found in allergies, and other respiratory conditions), as well as being helpful in killing off some microbes. (Makes sense - salt is used in salting to preserve food coz it keeps microorganisms at bay). So it may help with bacterially caused congestion of the nose/sinuses. I'm not sure if it would be as effective on fungi or mold, so not sure about its usefulness in your specific case - I need to read more about the antimicrobial effects of salt to find out.
