Hey hgh :),

Yes i agree with all of this, including the part about "when thirst becomes thirst" not being an exact science. I think a fair number of water fasters drink before any kind of thirst arises whatsoever or even force water on themselves when they are decidedly not thirsty. But truly "drinking only to thirst" as is widely recommended among experts in the field leads fasters into substantial dry segments.
