Yes, just as many pharmaceuticals can have detrimental effects on family and relationships, not to mention the health of the person taking the drugs. It is however up to the individual if they wish to do so. It is important that they be fully informed about the use of the drug, just as they should be fully informed about vaccinations.

The problems for the individual arise when they do not have the information, or are given false or misleading information, (spin), and cannot make an informed decision.
