Tecnically yes; but of the halogens fluoride comes first, as it is the most reactive one. These days and especially with the fluoridated water US have this is highly hypothetical.
Chloride in a natural salt / real salt is no problem.
Chlorinated water or simple table salt are much more questionable. The body needs chloride for hydrocloric acid and as a Ph regulator +++.
Just make sure your Iodine receptors are saturated with iodine.
