Wrong, not all medical diagnosis are based on symptoms, symptoms are an indicator, but, diagnosis can be based on pathology, such as biopsy, blood tests, imaging techniques, and in the case of polio, a lumbar puncture test.
Wrong, the time lines do not add up, anyone with very basic maths skills can see this, Polio was around a very long time before DDT, so it is correct to say that DDT does not cause polio.
I don't need conviction when looking at facts, conviction is an emotion, and I have no emotional attachment. There is a weak correlation suggested by the study you presented, based on very poorly done research, and a lack of scientific method used by the authors.
I'm not suggesting that vaccines do not have any effect, it is very obvious that they do have an effect, as can be seen by the fact that there are now very few people in the world that suffer from polio, smallpox, and other very serious and life threatening diseases.
And no, the "evidence" does not prove causation between DDT and Polio, it does exactly the opposite, at least for people viewing the evidence with an objective viewpoint.
