You too, Mr. Fish-That-Shaves, check your vitamin D levels. They should be around 70. If much lower you may find your bp is actually due to calcium, not magnesium. My 1:1 cal-mag supplement lowers my bp 30 points in half an hour. IF I am on sufficient D. You may find (as I seem to be finding) that if you are on sufficient D your urinary phwill be between 6.5 and 7.0 (say like 6.8) - you can use ph test strips. I take 7000 mg D/day. This is not the end of the story because it goes right back up after 4 hours or so and I have to take DHEA to keep it down. And even then if I eat a very high salt diet it will send it up again as I think the salt causes calcium excretion.
