I agree...not worth it to try and convince him if his mind is made up, but more than worth it to try and let others see through the veil of natural health that has been covered over an allopathic mentality.

I will say however, about a person on TPN receiving a lot of alkaline minerals does not represent the whole picture. The content of Sugar in TPN is high enough to make a non diabetic person have to receive insulin. So much for any man-made, put-together bag of nutrition having enough beneficial alkaline minerals to make a point with.
