Haarp. It is quite active now and causing pressure that is not quite equivalent on one eardrum vs. the other due to minor variations in symmetry. I have been sensing it quite a bit over about the past 2 months, more than usual, sometimes coming in bursts. Try the same experiment you just did, but in a metal-encased building or enclosure that is grounded.
