I have always taken it in the non-gelatin capsules, unflavored and never had an issues with aftertaste or anything. My hypoglycemia completely disappeared after working with a certified metabolic typing specialist. It used to be that i had to eat every two or three hours or I'd be a total wreck. Now I can go 4-5 hrs. Once I started eating right for my unique metabolic type my hypoglycemia is completely gone.
