The brain fog has, for sure, been the worst symptom for me. I feel like every day is a thick fog outside and I am trying to push through it. It does have a drugged feeling. My brain is not clear to think like I used to, like something is inside blocking it. It is the worst when I drive, feel like I don't know where I am going and have even unknowingly pulled out in front of people. The second worst is big stores with flourescent lights. I am very busy with work and family, used to accomplish double what I do now. I just can't think that far ahead to get organized and motivated. It is there all of the time and I have had it since about three months before I had the Mirena removed, now seven months all together.
I had a head injury about twenty years ago and had a very similiar feeling for a couple of years, the doctor referred to it as disassociation. After several drugs, I was given Tegretol which is an anti-seizure drug but almost instantly removed the problem.
