One of the doctors I saw said it could take 12-18 months to get out of the system. I always think about depo provera. They KNOW it takes 2 years to get back to your former levels.

The numbness is very interesting. I didn't get numbness until six months after Mirena was removed, and now my foot has been numb a full year. No doctor knows why. I have reduced sensation up to above my knee. I thought the numbness was an extension of the leg pain that started right around the time they found Mirena lost in my abdomen. But who knows?

Yes, I do still think it's the Mirena. I have had dozens of tests, and the only thing that shows up abnormal is my hormones. I know Mirena did that.
