I know the question isn't for me, but my story is this. Wondering why in the 4 years I had it with no problems then all of a sudden had really bad symptoms. I had lost over 40 lbs before the symptoms really took hold and started a new job. Not stressed about the job but it was a different lifestyle change and I think my liver couldn't process all the extra progestin(levonogestrel) and being a bit stressed. So my body broke down. Just my theory!! Cause I dont' understand why all of a sudden, I do know that the mirena caused some mood changes in the 4 years I had it but nothing like the last 6 months were I had the scariest symptoms that some of the other girls experience. Anyways great question.... I think we are getting at the bottom of this...
