I am so sorry to hear about your difficulty!

I am wondering if some Grapefruit seed extract might be of use to you...it is a wide-spectrum anti-microbial (I use it for Candida). However, it does not disturb the gut flora.

I started with one drop in a glass of water and am working my way up from there.
