BUT, cayenne powder is a different story. Because it takes quite awhile for the powder to exit the stomach and because it has a DIRECT action on peristalsis, more cayenne powder than what one is used to can cause cramping & diarrhea. It won't hurt a thing, but it'll FEEL like it's hurting a lot of things.
