Our water supply is now fluoridated in QLD, Australia. A few days ago I gave my 7 year old son just one drop of Lugols Iodine in a glass of water. The following day he complained that he felt 'funny'. When I asked him to elaborate, he explained that he felt 'fuzzy in the head'. He's never talked like this before. He and most of the other kids at his school drink from taps throughout the day and I wonder if the Iodine displaced some fluoride which led to his mental 'fuzziness'/vagueness. It's a sad situation if this is the case, but suggests to me that he might respond very well to iodine. I'm going to review the Iodine forums here to find a safe dose for him. He has asperger syndrome so I'd like to do whatever it takes to help him with concentration and gaining mental clarity. This post might not be relevant here ... sorry if it isn't.
