Dry fasting is not meant to be done days at a time. It was told in the days of my Prophet that those who chose to dry fast more than every other day would have poor eye sight and bad health in their last days.

Fasting from sunrise to sunset, every other day will give you the same benefit of fasting all month long. Or shall I say to do this 3 days a month.
