I learned from reading wikipedia that cortisol will convert both fats and proteins to sugars when needed. This is useful to know and a hint something may be wrong for those that cannot do a low carb diet due to low blood Sugar reactions. This was the case for me and a small amount of hydrocortisone allows me to stay on a low carb diet ... I won't do no carb like Aijan due to other problems like severe constipation and it induces calcium deficiency for some reason.
