Hi Krosser
I suffered from bruxism (teeth-grinding) and was advised by a dentist to wear an occlusal splint to prevent further damage. I wore it for a few months but noticed that if I took a daily magnesium supplement I stopped grinding my teeth at night. I was able to stop using the splint altogether. As for my tooth sensitivity, which caused considerable discomfort, I found that upon supplementing my diet with calcium, it pretty much vanished also! I don't know if this mineral-tooth connection is typical for others, but I just thought I'd mention it to you. Being allergic to dairy foods, I consume very little, and perhaps this explains this basic calcium connection in my case.
Good luck - I hope you work it out
